    Face Painting, bouncy castle and other fun.

    There will be also be an ice cream van–

    Ice cream available to purchase.

    *Children will finish that day at 11.30 (no lunch) to facilitate setting up for the fun day*

    Wed 7th June

    Annual Parent Meeting will be held at 3.30pm. Please let us know if you plan to attend.

    ‘The Big Lunch ‘-Please bring a picnic for yourself/anyone else attending. School Meals are providing a picnic for the children. A picnic blanket would be a good idea too. 12.30-1.30pm

    Every warm day, please put

    sunscreen on your child.

    Please bring in a sun hat with your name on it and wear suitable shoes.

     

    Sun screen

    We have very kindly been given a donation of sunscreen. Each child has a bottle TO BE KEPT IN THEIR HALL CUBBY. It may then be applied to your child as they arrive to school, if needed. Parents should apply their childs sunscreen. The brand is Ladival, factor 50+

    We will be planting peas and herbs this month.

    Questionnaires will be going out in relation to the Getting Ready to Learn scheme. We would be really grateful if you could complete them.

    A Big Thank you to our Community partners at the Walkway Centre– they very kindly provided the funding for the buses taking us to W5 and the Fitness Freddy sessions which we are enjoying.

    Another Big Thank you to Aarons Mum and Kyles Mum for all their hard work organising the Easter Baskets, and Alexanders Granny for organising the ballots.

     

    Our theme this month is fairy tales. If anyone has any old costumes they could send it we would really appreciate it.

     

     

    Eco news

    This month we shall closely study life cycles of frogs and butterflies. We will have caterpillars in class and closely observe the changes daily.

    We will continue to observe the mini beasts in our log pile.

    We shall be growing vegetables, plants and flowers in our garden

    area.

     

    Getting Ready to Learn

    We have organised a series of parent workshops– come along a little earlier (1pm) on Friday 5th, 12th and 19th May and get involved in some fun & interesting activities which promote your childs learning

     

    Parent Coffee Mornings with Siobhain

    Come join Siobhain our parent worker every Tuesday Morning this Month. Topics to include:

    EFT/tapping

    Other relaxation techniques

    Structured problem solving

    Bullying toolkit as prep for big school.
